In 64, we had a baseball team.......yes, I said laugh out loud........that played anyone who would play us. We played at the high school that was on the beach. At the bottom of the hill, turn left and go a short distance and the HS was on the right. The far outfield was the ocean.
We played a lot of school kids(I assume they were HS kids) and even a team brought out from Naha. For a bunch of GIs, mostly hung over, we never lost a game. God, those were good times.
Does anyone remember the HS and the name of it? I get oldtimer's every now and then and can't remember my name. Something for a slow day.
